New Tuxedo Cat ACEO Auction: Feathers and Fur

It’s been a little while since I had a new tuxedo cat ACEO up for auction because I’ve been busy with paintings for Whitby Galleries over the past week or so.

Normally I have a few days off to recover but I had an image in my head that I needed to paint while it was fresh. I’ve painted cats with birds before, as recently as my order for Whitby Galleries, but these pieces usually involve a tolerant owl. This time I wanted to paint something a bit more colourful. A lovebird.

I had originally started to paint kitty as a tabby but I turned him in to a tux to contrast against the bright colours of his feathered friend. The title for this one? Feathers and Fur of course!
