ACEO & Art for Sale, Whitby Galleries

New Cat Art at Whitby Galleries this Month

After a very long wait, I finally have some new cat art at Whitby Galleries this month! Not including the 2 larger pieces that arrived last month, and then walked straight out the gallery door, this is the first large order of my smaller cat art in 5 months. I hope the wait is worth it!

Apologies for the sub-par photos this month. I realised I hadn’t taken any photos for my website as I was packing everything so I hurriedly snapped a few pics. Already desperately trying to make it to the Post Office before collection time I didn’t have time to check them. Oops!

Anyway, you may notice some kitties I don’t paint that much. In fact, I don’t think I’ve ever painted any for Whitby Galleries. There was one, but it was a special request which didn’t go on sale to the general public. I should really paint more pointed cats. Chocolate, seal, lilac. They are such beautiful colour combos I don’t know why I haven’t painted more of them until now.

I also like to include a few paintings inspired by the current season. September is a bit of an odd month. It’s somewhere between the colder days of Autumn and the warmth of Summer. Here in the UK, we can still have beach days with temperatures well above 20°C. We also have colder days which are more like Autumn with gales and heavy rain. So, I decided to include a kitty enjoying the beach and one surrounded by a Autumnal harvest!

Making up the rest of the collection are the usual house cats being house cats and a couple more Whitby inspired ones. I just can’t resist painting that church on the hill!

Which one is your favourite? The sailor kitty in his cardboard box boat is mine!
