New Vintage Chalkboard Housewarming Party Invitations {Print on Demand}
Recently I’ve been working on some preliminary sketches for a homely kitty commission so I stuck with the “Home Sweet Home” theme, burnt a little midnight oil, and created these vintage chalkboard housewarming party invitations.
I’m obsessed with vintage, especially Victorian and Art Nouveau, and I think that the swirls and flourishes work really well against the chalkboard texture. Very swish! While some of the text can’t be changed because it’s part of the design (and Zazzle is somewhat limited in it’s design tool) you can personalize the essential details like the date, time, address, and rsvp info!
It’s been a long time since I’ve designed anything new. There have just been so many illustrations and ACEO art cards that have needed painting that time is scarce lately. While being a busy little bee IS a good thing, it’s nice to be able to have a change in work flow every now and again as it helps to replenish the creative juices.
