New Cat Illustrations at Whitby Galleries
Hi everyone! Some new cat paintings (& a dog) have arrived at Whitby Galleries this month. Nine colourful kitties and one rather dapper looking pug. There are a lot of different themes this month and I was asked to include another of my infamous cat in a cat flap illustrations. I’m starting to lose count of how many different variations I’ve painted of this one. As long as you all still enjoy it (and request it) I will continue to do.

Another request was to include some paintings with a Whitby theme. Rather than choose a few different locations or tourist spots, I settled on three paintings all featuring the same location, St. Mary’s church and the cliff it sits on. Each painting depicts a short journey along the river and shows a different cat enjoying the views in each one.

These aren’t the only paintings to arrive at the gallery this month. I also have another 12 x 12 inch piece that I will be working on next week. This will also have a Whitby theme. I have a few ideas but I think I might focus on Whitby Abbey for this one. Something a bit dark & gothic looking. Although, with my painting style, it’ll probably be more cute & gothic!

These little illustrations are available right now from Whitby Galleries. They have all been professionally mounted and framed by the staff at the gallery. They measure approx. 5 x 5 inches and the frames are around 11.5 inches square.
