A Merry Cat Christmas in July

When it comes to Christmas, I’m generally the one who leaves everything until December. I’m definitely not a last minute Christmas shopper, as I like to have everything done and dusted at least a week before the big day, but I’m also not one of those ultra-prepared shoppers either. While I’m not a huge fan of early gift buying myself I am impressed by those who are. I think the earliest I’ve sold something Christmas related was June.

There’s nothing wrong with being prepared but I’ve resigned to the fact that I’m never going to be as organized as some of you are. Although, from the beginning of July when everyone else is thinking about beaches and ice cream, I’m already painting snowmen and designing for Christmas so I guess I am prepared in that sense.

I must confess that I’m a little behind schedule this year and haven’t painted or designed anything new for this Christmas yet. There’s a few ideas rolling around in that noggin of mine, I just haven’t had the time to sit down and turn them in to reality. Luckily, I still have a few festive cat paintings from last year which I’ve been adding to my store on Redbubble as cards.

They say the early bird catches the worm so I hope you’ve enjoy my festive greeting cards and found something special to send this Christmas.

Merry Christmas in July!
