Autumnal & Chilly Cat Paintings at Whitby Galleries

This month I have a new set of cat paintings at Whitby Galleries and while the last lot had a Summer vibe this bunch has a more Wintery flavour. I love the colder seasons and I had a lot of fun painting this set. There’s just something about painting snowmen, scarves, and cats that I love!

Actually, you can add scarecrows to that list too! They crept in to my ACEO paintings last month and when I found out Autumn and Winter was the theme for my Whitby paintings I had to include one.

There are 8 paintings in total this month, 2 Autumnal, 3 Winter, and 3 with a homely feel.

As well as the scarecrow, my other Autumnal cat painting is a cat in a sou’wester sitting on a windy roof. In the Winter ones, 2 cats have knocked the head off a snowman, a tux stands in the snow wearing his fish bone scarf, and a kitten stands next to a penguin snow globe.

Although, the rest of the paintings were anything of my choice I decided to loosely tie them in with the others. A cat snuggles with his mouse on his favourite chair, a calico kitten snuggles in bed, and a tux sits on a bookshelf because there’s nothing better than a reading by the fire on a cold day!

All of these paintings are available to buy from Whitby Galleries, fully framed, for £50 each.

Have a great weekend!
