The Perfect Box for Hiding – Cat ACEO

I just love painting cats with boxes so I couldn’t resist painting an ACEO inspired by the recent painting of a cat in a box that I did for Whitby Galleries a few days ago.

I love the way that the confines of the paper are also the confines of the box, it almost looks like you’re actually looking into a box. I’m rather pleased with how this one has turned out and may do more in the future featuring different coloured kitties.

Like almost all of my It’s A Cat’s Life ACEOs “The Perfect Box for Hiding” has been painted with acrylics on 300gsm watercolour paper.
