Mouser in Training
Hope you all have had a wonderful Easter. Most of my Easter weekend was spent working on a new set of 10 cat paintings for Whitby Galleries. 3 of which can be seen below.
The top painting, titled “Mouser in Training”, is an homage to what has been 13 days of furry hell! We’ve never ever had mice inside the house before until now. The house 4 doors down has a mouse harbouring pile of rubbish spilling in to the back lane and they’ve been invading the yard being a mousy nuisance.
How they got in the house I don’t know but so far I’ve caught and released 4. You can read all about The Great Mouse Debacle on my Nature photoblog.
You’ll be pleased to know that I have some new ACEO paintings lined up for the second half off this week too. I had planned to do some alongside the ones for Whitby but the mice have pretty much consumed any free time I had. Look out for those later in the week.
