Book Love and Corgis
In between helping to digitise old ship logs over at oldweather.org painting new ACEO has been on the agenda today.
Why shipping logs? It’s something none creative for my brain to focus on for a while, I help science, and it’s actually quite interesting… but back to ACEOs.
“Book Love” will be listed on eBay later tonight at my usual time of around 10pm UK time and will run for 7 days.
It’s an ACEO version of a painting I did for Whitby Galleries at the end of last year and decided to do a version for ACEO collectors. This is also a mixed media piece using acrylic over a base layer of red gouache.

I’ve also been painting something for the dog lovers… a corgi in a party hat!
This cheeky chappy is not quite finished yet and has also been painted using the same gouache and acrylic technique as “Book Love”. When he is finished I’ll be listing him in my Etsy store.
