New Original Cat Artwork & Prints in Store

Wow! I can’t quite believe we are midway through February already! Where is the time going? It’s been a while since I updated my blog. I’ve been busy with commissions and making new art and it’s been the last thing on my mind. So, I’m dropping by to let you know that I’m still painting things and about some new cat artwork & prints that I’ve just added to my Folksy store.

I have a boat load of wood panels and canvas board stashed away and over the past few weeks I’ve finally made a start on actually getting some art on them. Still a long way to go but one is finally finished and waiting for a new home to go to.

Nap Time Hug – Original Cat Painting *SOLD*

Measuring at just 15cm square these nap time buddies can squeeze in to the tiniest of wall spaces! It’s ready to hang, sides are painted black, and it has been sealed with several coats of anti UV matte varnish. The inspiration for this piece is based on current events going on around the world. There is a lot of hate and negativity. Worry and sadness. Sometimes we just need a big old hug.

Lots of prints in store this week as well! I’ve had a 2019 calendar sitting in a draw for over a year. Unfortunately it had a few misprints but I was too reluctant to throw it out as many of the images were still perfectly usable.

They aren’t Giclee quality by any means but they are still high quality digital inkjet reproductions making for a perfectly affordable and inexpensive way to enjoy my art on a budget. There are 10 different cat prints to choose from and only one of each available. So best be quick!

The mounts are approx. 8 inch square, so will fit most frames of the same size, and the print measures a teeny tiny 4.3 inches square. They are priced at £6.50 each with free UK delivery.
