A Surprise 50th Birthday Cat Painting
Here’s a little something I’ve been working on this week. My mum asked me to create a cat painting for my auntie’s 50th Birthday because we are unable to make her party. Her birthday is today so it’s safe to post this now without spoiling the surprise!
My mum originally wanted the cat to be with a cake which was shaped like a 50 but I felt that a massive 3 tier cake with embellishments would be better compositionally. The perspective on the cake is a little bit weird towards the top but it kind of works for some reason.
I hope she likes it.
