Latest Cat ACEO – You’re Invited

Today’s ACEO is loosely inspired by my most recent love interest… a pigeon! When ever I’m outside doing a spot of gardening the same one footed pigeon, who is now called Stumpy, sits on the roof and ‘coos’ while he watches me below. Sometimes he sits for hours.

The pigeon got me thinking about partnerships a little and I really wanted to paint a cat with a bow tie for some reason so that’s how this little painting came about — A tuxedo cat dressed to impress waiting for the love of his life to go with him to the party.

It’s called “You’re Invited” and I created it using acrylics and UniPin technical pens. I’ll be auctioning this piece off on eBay from later today. This little tuxedo kitty has now been listed for auction on ebay. The auction ends on March 13, 2012. Place your bids!
