More Beach Cat Paintings on their Way to Whitby
This morning I packaged up and sent a new set of 10 cat paintings off to Whitby Galleries. It’s been a long hard slog, like always, but I’m a little sad that they’re finished as I’ve really enjoyed painting these kitties. Especially the beach cats!
My beach cat paintings have been popular so I was asked to include another 4 of a similar theme along with some of my own choosing. I love trips to the seaside and I love painting seaside scenes so I couldn’t think of a better way to spend the past week or so. If the weather holds out I’m planning a trip down to the beach tomorrow for a spot of wildlife photography. Something I like to do to relax.
For the rest of the paintings I’ve revisited a few old themes. You probably all know I have a soft spot for cats in boxes so I had to include a painting of 4 cute kittens crammed inside a box. There’s also 2 hungry cats that I’ve lovingly nicknamed Ebony and Ivory and a cute grey tabby sitting on a counter top.
After cats in boxes, cats in sinks are next on my list of favourite places cats like to sit so I had to paint one. I finished off the order with a cat sitting in a paper bag and a cat with teddy bears so hopefully there’s something for everyone.
I’m having a few days off but I will have some new cat ACEOs to list on ebay soon and I may even paint a few dogs on the beach!
