Autumn has finally arrived and so have the kitties! It’s been a busy month so far. Inktober is here again. I’ve got a mountain of artwork & handmade goodies to create. But, despite all that, I’ve still managed to find time to paint ten new cat paintings for Whitby Galleries. Phew!

Just under half of the new arrivals have a nautical theme and are very much inspired by Whitby. They feature boats, the sea, and some very distinctive scenery (even though it’s not completely accurate.) I have to admit that I have a slight obsession with St. Mary’s Church. Once again it’s made an appearance in a couple of paintings. I just can’t help myself!

There’s a couple of feline trouble makers making an appearance this month. One is feeling a bit potty and made himself at home in the casserole pan. The other has decided to empty the entire contents of your handbag over the table. Your diary. Your makeup. Even the contents of your purse. After all, cats will be cats!

I love Autumn. There’s a slight chill in the air. Pumpkins. Halloween. The trees turn shades of red, yellow and orange. It felt wrong not to include a few seasonal paintings featuring pumpkins. My favourite Autumnal veg!
