New Feline Arrivals at Whitby Galleries
There have been some new feline arrivals at Whitby Galleries this week. The last set of kitties, that arrived sometime in May, completely sold out within a week. They left poor Pugsley the pug behind with his tail between his legs, wondering where everyone had gone.
I had hoped that this new set of paintings would be ready a week ago. Unfortunately, I had more than a few set backs with another project. This had a knock on effect with everything else and I ended up being 3 -4 days behind. Hopefully the wait is worth it.
The themes this month are pretty much the same as last time. A couple of Whitby inspired felines, more cats just being cats, and as the weather is warming up, a couple of seaside ones for good measure.
I’m really enjoying painting the Whitby themed ones. I love the quirkiness of the houses staggered at the bottom of the hill where St Mary’s church sits. It’s a bit of a challenge. But who doesn’t like a challenge, right?
