Leeks are Awesome! Gifts & Prints

Hi everyone! Thought it was time I popped in and let you all know that I’m still alive. Which you’ll all know anyway if you follow me on social media… But… Yeah, I’m still alive.

As you know I like to have a break from my cats and hand painted illustrations once in a while to fiddle about with Vector art. I hope you all like my latest creation!

If you follow me on Twitter you’ll know that I’m a bit of a girl gamer and particularly like jRPG and music rythmn games… Oh, and Splatoon but don’t get me started on that! Anyway, my latest kawaii style illustration is inspired by Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA.

There’s a bit where Miku, very randomly, uses a leek as a conductor’s baton during the game. I wanted to create something loosely inspired by this moment that was fun and quirky for everyone while still being able to have fans of Hatsune Miku make the connection.

If you’re wondering what he Japanese text says it translates to, Leeks are number one. There isn’t a direct translation for Leeks are Awesome unfortunately but it does mean the same thing!
