Postcrossing – My New Hobby
At the beginning of October I received a customer review for my Guardian Angel Cat Postcard on Zazzle from someone who is a member of postcrossing.com and loves to use my art postcards as part of the project. Intrigued by what this project was I paid postcrossing.com a visit and liked what I saw.
What is postcrossing? It’s basically a global postcard project where by you send a postcard and receive at least one back from someone random in the world. The more you send the more you receive. I love postcards both old & new and I also love getting mail so I signed up and have just sent my first 2 postcards to Germany and Taiwan.
I haven’t got a great selection of postcards to choose from where I live and without time to travel further afield I settled on an Angel of the North postcard and a St Mary’s Lighthouse (Whitley Bay) postcard. I wasn’t quite sure what to write on them so I started by drawing a little cat cartoon on them both. I think I might continue drawing something on the postcards I send as it’s rather quirky and unique. Once the recipients of my postcards register them in the system I will then be eligible to receive my first postcard. I wonder where it will be from?

Heya just wanted to give you a brief heads up and let you know
a few of the pictures aren’t loading correctly. I’m not sure why but I think its a
linking issue. I’ve tried it in two different browsers and both show the same outcome.

Thanks. It’s something to do with my current theme but I’m busy with a new theme that works correctly so I’m leaving the broken images as they are. No point fixing as the new theme will be up soon. Thanks again :)
