Indie Arts And Illustration Magazine Interview
Back in March this year I was approached by fellow artist Nikki Cutro to take part in an exciting new project that she and her friend, Dorothy Porst, were involved in.
The project was to produce and publish a new art magazine with the first issue focusing on female artists and illustrators. I was asked by Nikki to answer a series of questions about my art and inspirations, and to provide around 10 images to be included in my 3 page feature.
The first issue was published on 25 April, 2010 and is available to buy from MagCloud priced $10.00 (US). MagCloud is a print-on-demand company who only print and bind the magazines upon placement of an order. Unfortunately they only ship to USA, Canada and the UK.
As well as myself, you will also find many other fantastic female artists amongst the 40 pages of this magazine. Nikki Cutro, Mariana Musa, Tricia-rennea Wilson, Melissa Hamilton and Rebecca Bowker Czosnek are just a few of the 12 artists featured.
