Cat ACEO Auction: Ebony on the Ivories

For some reason I awoke with the Paul McCartney & Stevie Wonder song, Ebony and Ivory, stuck in my head this morning. Why? I’m not sure. I’m not overly keen on the tune but after a few hours of repeatedly hearing the chorus I decided to let it take me somewhere creatively. The result is my latest cat ACEO.

Ebony is a black cat who loves to sit on her owner’s piano keyboard when they aren’t tinkling the ivories. It’s almost as if she wants an encore!

This ACEO is painted with acrylics on 300gsm watercolour paper. It’s signed, dated and titled on the back, and initialled on the front.
