I’m finally fully registered as a seller on Etsy and this is the first painting that I’ve listed. It measures 3 x 3 inches with a 0.5 inch white border making it a total of 4 x 4 inches. It was painted using acrylic on 200gsm cold-pressed watercolour paper.

Today has been absolutely freezing! I’ve got the hot water bottle under my feet as we speak to try and warm my frozen extremeties. Oh how I wish I was this little kitty, tucked up in bed with a night cap to warm my head!

When I woke up this morning and sat down to paint, I quickly realised I was suffering from another bout of creative block. Everything I sketched for my It’s A Cat’s Life ACEO series ended up being rubbed out so I decided to paint something a little more realistic today.

I’ve returned to my whimsical kitties for today’s ACEO. I Don’t Like Mice is actually inspired from watching Most Haunted Live on TV last night. I’m undecided as to whether ghosts exist or not. There are a lot of mixed reviews about Most Haunted…. some say that it is staged but on occasions, something happens which is a little odd and hard to explain… last night was one of those occasions. As you can imagine I was feeling a little uncertain about the dark last night, something which normally doesn’t bother me.
