Keep OFF the Grass! Tabby Cat ACEO

New ACEO paintings have been few and far between for the past few weeks as I’m still working on my online store and website design changes. It’s taking a lot longer than expected but they should be ready in the next week or so. Yesterday, I took a little break from the coding to paint this tabby cat ACEO to break up the long period of creative nothing since my last.

Biggles is the cat next-door and he often lets himself in the yard and kitchen (if the door’s open) on sunny days. He loves to eat my plants and is partial to my grasses so I guess this ACEO is a little tribute to my adoptive kitty. He’s a funny old soul!

It has been painted with my usual acrylic on watercolour paper and is currently up for auction on ebay until July 17, 2014. Happy bidding!
